Jessica Vegas — Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions apply to all Jessica Vegas services and sales. Bridal Service terms are included in your Bridal Beauty Package documentation only and these terms do not relate to any Bridal bookings.


1. Jessica Vegas Hair & Makeup Academy

Workshops, Masterclasses & Bespoke Learning
All Academy bookings are final. No refunds or rescheduling are permitted except at the sole discretion of our team.

1.1 Ticket Policy

  • Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.

  • At our discretion, you may request one transfer to an alternative date or location within 12 months of your original booking, subject to availability.

  • There is no guarantee of future events available to book if a transfer is approved.

1.2 Health & Safety

  • Do not attend if you have flu-like symptoms, are awaiting COVID-19 test results, or have tested positive.

  • Anyone who arrives unwell will be refused entry and may request a one-time transfer as per clause 1.1.

1.3 Store Credit

  • If you cannot attend your rescheduled Class within 12 months, we will issue store credit (valid 12 months) redeemable at www.jessicavegas.com.

1.4 Tools & Materials

  • You must bring the brushes and tools listed in your welcome email.

  • If you don’t have the required kit, you may purchase it online or on the day; without the correct tools you may miss practical elements.

1.5 Photography & Filming

  • We may take photos/videos during Classes for marketing. If you prefer not to be featured, please advise our team on arrival.

1.6 Educational Use Only

  • All instruction is for general education. For serious skin or health concerns, seek professional medical advice.

1.7 Age Requirements

  • Attendees must be 13 years or older.

  • Attendees under 16 years must be accompanied by a paying adult throughout the Class.

1.8 Communications Consent

  • By booking, you agree to receive course-related communications and occasional promotional emails or calls from Jessica Vegas Professional Hair & Makeup Artist.


2. Makeup Products & Tools

In accordance with Australian Consumer Law and NSW Fair Trading:

2.1 No change-of-mind refunds or exchanges.
2.2 Under the ACL, all goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded. If a product has a major failure—such as not being of acceptable quality, fit for purpose, or matching its description—you are entitled to a repair, replacement or refund.

3. Special Occasion Service Terms & Conditions

These apply to all non-bridal makeup, hair, spray tans, nails and beauty services.

3.1 Booking Confirmation

  • Your booking is not finalised until full pre-payment is received.

3.2 Cancellation Policy

  • Bookings are non-refundable but may be rescheduled at the sole discretion of Jessica Vegas.

3.3 Health, Hygiene & Safety

3.3.1 Infectious & Health Conditions

  • You must notify us if you or any household member have flu-like symptoms, are awaiting COVID-19 test results, test positive, or have an infectious skin/scalp condition (cold sores, impetigo, shingles).

  • Failure to notify may result in refusal of service without refund.

3.3.2 Allergy & Treatment Disclosure

  • Advise us of any allergies (latex, fragrances), recent cosmetic treatments (peels, microdermabrasion), or medical conditions prior to booking.

  • If you’ve had facial or medical treatments within 7 days of your service, a doctor’s clearance may be required.

3.3.3 Client-Provided Products & Contraindications

  • For active cold sores or open lesions, you must supply and use your own sealed products and tools; we will not use our kits.

  • We will refuse service for contagious eye infections, head lice, or other active infestations.

  • Active skin flare-ups may require a patch test at least 48 hours before your service.

  • No refunds will be given for services we can not provide due to a clients contagious condition.

3.3.4 Tool & Hand Hygiene

  • Our artists will wash or sanitise hands before and after every service.

  • Reusable tools (brushes, combs, tweezers) are disinfected with hospital-grade products between clients.

  • Single-use items (mascara wands, lip applicators) are discarded after one use.

3.4 Site Access & Stairs Policy

  • Power & Seating: Provide a stable, back-supported dining-style chair; a dedicated power outlet must easily accessible.

  • Workspace: Must be indoors on a flat, clean surface (no toilets), well-lit and ventilated. We reserve the right to pause or refuse service without refund (any incurred fees still apply) if we feel the allocated workspace does not align with our safety needs.

  • Stair Access: We can carry equipment up to two flights of straight stairs (max 24 steps). Spiral or narrow winding staircases are prohibited.

    • If your service area is above two flights, you must either:

      1. Pay a surcharge to cover extra handling; or

      2. Relocate the setup to a ground or lower-floor room accessible by straight stairs.

  • Outdoor Services: Only under substantial permanent cover (roofed patio, marquee). No direct sun, rain, or under temporary/portable umbrellas.

3.5 Travel Fee

  • For locations beyond 20 km from Grose Vale, NSW, a travel fee of $0.95 per km (return) applies.

  • May be waived for group bookings; must be paid in advance by invoice.

3.6 Pet Policy

  • Containment: All indoor pets must be secured completely outside the service area in another room or crate. If pets remain nearby, they must be under third-party supervision at all times at least 2 m from the workstation.

  • Hygiene & Kit Integrity: Pet hair, dander or accidents can contaminate tools. If excessive contamination occurs, service may pause until cleaning is completed at your expense.

  • Safety from Hot Tools: Pets must not have access to any part of our setup to prevent burns or inhalation risks. 

  • Liability & Cleaning Fees: You are liable for any pet-caused damage or contamination to our personal property, kits and tools.

  • Refusal of Service: If pets cannot be contained or pose a risk, we reserve the right to pause or refuse service without refund; any incurred fees still apply.


4. Bridal Makeup Services

These terms are provided inside your Bridal Beauty Package documentation and are not publicly displayed but available upon request.


5. Policy Updates & Your Rights
