Terms of Service
& Conditions
Please read these terms carefully before making a booking. By proceeding you agree to be bound by them in full.
Last updated: May 2026Booking Confirmation & Booking Fee
Your wedding date is secured only upon acceptance of your Proposal and receipt of the Booking Fee in cleared funds. No date will be held, reserved, or considered confirmed until both conditions are met.
Booking Fee
A non-refundable Booking Fee equal to 50% of your total package price (exclusive of GST) is required to confirm your booking. The Booking Fee is not a deposit — it is a fee for work that commences immediately upon booking confirmation. The Booking Fee is non-refundable and compensates us for the immediate allocation of time, planning, administrative work, artist scheduling, and the reservation of exclusive booking capacity for your wedding date.
Due to the nature of wedding bookings, we may decline other enquiries and commit artist availability specifically for your event from the time of booking confirmation.
Remaining Balance
The remaining balance of your total package price is due no later than 28 days before your wedding date (subject to the payment schedule agreed at time of booking). Services will not proceed without cleared payment of the full balance by this date.
Where you have authorised a direct debit via GoCardless, the final balance will be collected automatically on the scheduled date. See Clause 2 for details.
GST
Bridal service prices are exclusive of GST (10%), which will be added to your invoice. Special Occasion services, Pro Shop products, and Academy bookings are priced inclusive of GST unless otherwise stated.
Payment & Third-Party Payment Processors
We use third-party payment processors to handle transactions securely. By making a payment you acknowledge and agree that:
- Your payment is processed by the relevant third-party provider, not directly by Jessica Vegas Pro Team.
- Each provider's own terms of service and privacy policy apply to any transaction made through their platform.
- We do not store your full card number, bank account details, or financial credentials on our systems.
- Processing fees are absorbed by us and are not passed on to you as surcharges, unless explicitly stated on your Proposal.
GoCardless Direct Debit Authorisation
Where you elect to pay your final balance via direct debit, you authorise Jessica Vegas Pro Team to instruct GoCardless to collect payment from your nominated bank account on or around the scheduled payment date. By accepting your Proposal and completing the GoCardless mandate setup:
- You authorise us to debit the final balance amount from your account on the scheduled date.
- You acknowledge the final amount may vary from the initial estimate if you have added services, upgrades, or variations since the original Proposal was sent.
- We will notify you of the final amount at least 7 days before the debit date so you have time to query any discrepancies.
- GoCardless is regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and processes payments under the Direct Debit Guarantee.
Failed or Returned Payments
If a direct debit is returned unpaid or a card payment is declined:
- We reserve the right to re-attempt the payment within 5 business days.
- A returned payment administration fee of $35 may be applied.
- If payment remains outstanding after re-attempt, the late payment provisions in Clause 3 apply immediately.
- Services will not proceed until cleared payment is received.
Late Payment
If payment is not received by the due date and no prior written arrangement has been agreed by us:
- A late administration fee of $75 will be applied immediately to cover administrative costs associated with overdue accounts.
- Interest accrues on overdue amounts at a rate of 10% per annum, calculated daily from the due date until paid in full.
- If an account remains unpaid after reasonable attempts to resolve the matter, we may refer the outstanding balance to a third-party debt recovery service. Where this occurs, you may be responsible for reasonable recovery costs to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Cancellation by Client
All cancellations must be made in writing to hello@jessicavegas.com. Cancellations are effective from the date we receive written notice.
- More than 90 days before the wedding date: Booking Fee is forfeited. No further amount is payable.
- 90 days or fewer before the wedding date: The full package price is payable. Any amounts already paid will be applied; the remainder becomes immediately due.
Cancellations within 90 days of the wedding date result in significant commercial loss, including reserved artist availability, operational scheduling, logistics planning, and loss of the opportunity to accept alternative bookings for that date.
The amounts payable under this clause reflect the reservation of exclusive booking capacity, committed artist availability, operational planning, scheduling, and administrative work performed in reliance on your booking confirmation. These amounts represent a genuine pre-estimate of our losses and are not a penalty.
Where required by law, any reduction in actual loss reasonably achieved by us may be taken into account.
Cancellation or Variation by Us
In the unlikely event we are unable to provide services due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control (including illness, injury, or emergency), we will notify you as soon as practicable and may arrange a substitute artist of equivalent skill or offer to reschedule.
If no suitable alternative is available and the booking cannot proceed, we will refund all payments made for services not yet performed via the original payment method. Where the original payment was made via GoCardless direct debit, refunds will be processed through GoCardless in accordance with their refund procedures.
Bridal Trial
Booking & Payment
Bridal trials are quoted and invoiced separately. Full payment is required to secure a trial appointment. Trial fees are non-refundable if cancelled within 48 hours of the scheduled appointment.
Purpose
The trial is an opportunity to collaborate on and refine your wedding day look. Clients are expected to provide clear inspiration references and communicate preferences openly during the trial process. The look agreed at the end of your trial forms the basis of your wedding day services. Variations between the trial and wedding day are normal and may occur due to environmental conditions, hair or skin condition on the day, timing, and other factors outside our control.
Changes After Trial
Significant changes to your look requested after the trial (e.g. entirely different style, hair type changes) may require an additional trial at an additional cost.
Upgrades at Trial
If you elect to add services or upgrade your package at or after your trial, the additional amount will be added to your final balance. Where a GoCardless direct debit is in place, we will notify you of the updated amount at least 7 days before the debit date.
Wedding Day Services
Runsheet
A detailed runsheet will be prepared and shared with you and your artist team prior to your wedding day. It is your responsibility to review the runsheet and advise us of any inaccuracies before the wedding day.
Ready-by Time & Photography Buffer
Services are scheduled to conclude by the agreed finish time based on the confirmed runsheet and booked services. We are not responsible for delays caused by late arrivals, additional guests added on the day, or changes to services requested on the day.
All service timings are estimates only and may vary slightly on the day due to operational requirements, artist workflow, environmental conditions, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
The agreed finish time refers only to the completion of booked hair and makeup services. It does not include dressing, photography, transport, touch-ups, content creation, or other activities occurring after services conclude. We strongly recommend allowing an additional buffer period between service completion and any scheduled photography, ceremony departure, or formal events.
Exclusivity of Booking
Your booking reserves only the artists, services, and scheduling structure confirmed within your Proposal and runsheet. Unless expressly agreed in writing, your booking does not grant exclusive use of Jessica Vegas Pro Team or prevent us from accepting or performing other bookings on the same date.
Specific Artist Requests
While we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate requested artists, we do not guarantee the availability of any specific artist. We reserve the right to substitute artists of equivalent skill, experience, and professional standard where required.
Artist Assistants & Support Staff
Jessica Vegas Pro Team may utilise assistants, junior artists, trainees, or support staff in connection with your booking where appropriate. All services will remain supervised and delivered in accordance with our professional standards.
Day-of Additions
Additional services requested on the wedding day are at our sole discretion and subject to availability. Where agreed, day-of additions will be invoiced separately. Where reasonably practicable, payment for additional services or overtime may be required immediately on the wedding day via card or bank transfer.
Scheduling, Start Times, Artist Allocation & Reserved Capacity
Jessica Vegas Pro Team determines all scheduling structure, start times, artist allocation, and operational requirements based on the confirmed services, required finish time, logistics, travel requirements, and the professional standards required to deliver the booking appropriately.
Our team carefully structures artist schedules and booking allocations across each wedding date to ensure operational viability, service quality, efficient artist utilisation, and appropriate allocation of commercially serviceable booking hours.
Where a client requests a later start time, compressed schedule, reduced service window, extended downtime between services, or any other scheduling arrangement that limits operational flexibility or restricts artist availability during commercially serviceable hours, additional artists, revised scheduling structures, or schedule adjustment fees may apply.
These adjustments are not minimum spend requirements. They reflect the reserved operational capacity, artist availability, scheduling impact, and reduced ability for our team to accept or allocate additional bookings on the same date.
Artist allocation is determined solely by Jessica Vegas Pro Team and is not optional where required for the booking to remain operationally feasible or to maintain our professional service standards.
Jessica Vegas Pro Team reserves the right to determine the minimum operational start time required to complete services safely, professionally, and in accordance with our service standards. Client preference alone does not override the operational requirements of the booking.
Any additional artist fees, travel fees, parking fees, schedule adjustment fees, or associated operational costs required due to the requested booking structure will be added to the booking total and must be paid before the wedding date.
If the client declines the scheduling structure, artist allocation, or associated fees required for the booking to remain operationally viable, we reserve the right to:
- require an earlier start time;
- reduce the scope of services;
- revise the booking structure; or
- decline the requested scheduling arrangement.
We are not responsible for incomplete, modified, delayed, or missed services where the client declines the scheduling structure, start time, artist allocation, or operational requirements recommended by Jessica Vegas Pro Team.
Travel, Accommodation & Destination Bookings
Travel fees apply to mobile bookings and are quoted on a per-artist basis. Travel fees may include distance travelled, artist travel time, tolls, parking, transfers, and any operational costs associated with deploying artists to your location.
For regional, interstate, international, or destination weddings, additional costs may apply, including but not limited to flights, checked baggage or kit transport, accommodation, airport transfers, taxis, rideshare, hire cars, parking, tolls, meals, destination day rates, and additional travel or waiting time.
Where accommodation is required, it must be safe, private, and reasonably located in relation to the service location. Shared rooms are not suitable unless expressly agreed in writing.
Flights, transfers, accommodation, and related travel arrangements must be approved by Jessica Vegas Pro Team before booking, unless we are arranging them directly. Where early starts, remote locations, travel schedules, or distance make same-day travel unreasonable or unsafe, overnight accommodation may be required at the client's expense.
Travel, accommodation, parking, transfers, flights, and destination-related fees are payable in addition to service fees unless expressly included in your Proposal. Any changes to location, venue access, travel requirements, or schedule after booking may result in revised travel or destination fees.
Jessica Vegas Pro Team is not responsible for delays, cancellations, missed connections, airline disruptions, traffic, road closures, weather events, or other travel-related issues outside our control. Where such circumstances affect service delivery, we will take reasonable steps to communicate with you and minimise the impact where possible.
Extended Attendance & Destination Day Rates
Where a booking requires artists to remain on location for extended periods, attend multiple events, split service times across the day, remain available between services, or stay overnight due to travel or scheduling requirements, additional extended attendance fees or destination day rates may apply.
Destination day rates compensate for reserved artist availability, extended working hours, operational downtime, travel disruption, and the reduced ability for artists to accept alternative bookings during that period.
Applicable day rates, waiting time charges, extended attendance fees, or multi-day booking fees will be quoted and confirmed in writing prior to the event wherever reasonably practicable.
Flower Girls (Under 10)
Complimentary mini makeovers are available for flower girls aged under 10, subject to the following conditions:
- A maximum of 2 flower girls per wedding.
- Available only where the booking includes 3 or more full-priced wedding day services that include the Bride.
- The flower girl mini makeover is limited to the same service type booked by the Bride. If the Bride has booked hair only, the flower girl receives hair only — not a makeup application.
- Flower girl services are performed after all paid services are completed, time permitting only. They are not scheduled into the runsheet as a fixed service.
- If time does not allow for flower girl services, they will not proceed. Artists will not extend the schedule, stay back, or start early to accommodate flower girl services.
- If flower girls are not present and available at the time artists are ready to perform their service, the service is forfeited. No alternative time will be offered.
- Flower girl services are at the attending artist's sole discretion based on the child's cooperation, behaviour, and safety requirements on the day.
Junior Bridesmaids (Ages 12–16)
Services for junior bridesmaids aged 12–16 are available at a 20% discount on the base service price, subject to the following:
- The discount applies to the base service price only. Package upgrades, add-ons, and enhancements are charged at full price.
- Lashes and touch-up kits are not included in junior bridesmaid services.
- Junior bridesmaid bookings must be disclosed at time of booking and included in the confirmed runsheet.
- Services are at the attending artist's discretion based on the client's age, maturity, and suitability for the requested service.
Changes to Bookings
Any changes to your booking (including changes to party size, services, or wedding date) must be requested in writing. All booking changes are subject to our approval and operational availability.
- Reduction in party size: Reductions in the number of services are not permitted after booking confirmation. The total number of services confirmed in your Proposal is the minimum billable amount. Where a bridal party member is unable to attend or no longer requires a service, that service may be transferred to another guest at the same rate originally agreed. No reduction, credit, or refund will apply for unused services.
- Date changes: Wedding date changes are treated as a cancellation of the original booking and are subject to the cancellation terms in Clause 4. In exceptional circumstances, a date change may be considered where: (a) the request is made within 30 days of the original booking confirmation; or (b) the new wedding date is more than 12 months from the date of the original booking. Date changes are entirely at our discretion, subject to availability, and a rescheduling fee of $150 will apply in all cases where a date change is approved. Approval of a date change does not guarantee the same artists, pricing, or service structure.
- Location changes: May affect travel fees. We will advise of any fee adjustment in writing.
Workspace, Safety & Hygiene
You are responsible for ensuring a safe, suitable workspace is available for our artists. This includes adequate lighting, a clean flat surface, chairs at a suitable height, and access to power.
- Stairs: Our equipment may be transported up a maximum of one flight of straight stairs. Spiral or winding staircases are not accessible with our equipment.
- Outdoor locations: Jessica Vegas Pro Team determines the working location based on operational, safety, and professional requirements. The nature of hair and makeup services means outdoor and open-air environments are not suitable working locations. Where a venue or client proposes an outdoor working area and that area does not meet our professional and safety requirements, we reserve the right to refuse to commence or continue services until a suitable indoor or covered alternative is arranged. Failure to provide a suitable working area may result in delayed, modified, or cancelled services, and does not entitle the client to a refund of fees paid.
- Pets: Pets must be secured away from the work area during services.
- Children: We ask that young children not in the bridal party are supervised by another adult during services.
- Third-party interference: We reserve the right to pause services if another party (photographer, videographer, or guest) is interfering with our ability to safely perform services.
We maintain strict hygiene standards. All brushes, tools, and products are sanitised between clients. We reserve the right to decline services to any client whose hygiene or health condition poses a risk to other guests or artists.
Schedule Adherence & Overtime
Our artists will arrive at the agreed call time ready to begin. The runsheet is a fixed operational schedule — not a guide. All services are allocated specific time blocks and the schedule moves forward regardless of individual readiness.
Attendance & Delays
All clients receiving services must be present and ready at their scheduled time. If a client is not present or not ready at their allocated time, we will proceed to the next scheduled service to maintain the overall timeline. We are not responsible for incomplete or missed services where delays are caused by the client or bridal party's availability, late arrival, or unreadiness.
Service Order
The order of services is determined by Jessica Vegas Pro Team based on timing, efficiency, artist allocation, and final presentation requirements. Requests to change the service order on the day may not be accommodated and may affect timing, artist allocation, or final outcomes.
Venue Access & Parking
Delays caused by inaccessible venues, restricted access, unavailable parking, loading difficulties, or undisclosed access limitations may reduce available service time and may result in overtime charges, schedule adjustments, or simplified services. Parking fees and access costs are payable by the client unless expressly included in the Proposal.
No-Show & Abandonment
If a client or bridal party member becomes unavailable, leaves the service area, refuses to continue, or otherwise abandons their allocated service time — for any reason, including going for photographs, leaving the venue, or deciding not to continue — the service will be deemed forfeited. No refund, credit, or partial reduction will apply.
Artist Breaks
For extended bookings, reasonable break periods may be required for artists in accordance with workplace health and safety obligations and operational requirements. Where appropriate, suitable access to water, seating, and a reasonable meal opportunity should be available to attending artists.
Service Acceptance
Each service is deemed accepted at the time of completion. Clients are responsible for reviewing their hair and/or makeup immediately upon completion and requesting any adjustments before the artist proceeds to the next scheduled client. We are not responsible for adjustments requested after the artist has moved on, after the agreed schedule has concluded, or after the client has left the premises.
Photography, flash photography, video recording, filters, editing, and differing lighting conditions may affect the appearance of hair and makeup in photographs and are not grounds for dissatisfaction or refund.
Overtime
If services run beyond the agreed finish time due to circumstances within your control (late arrivals, extended services, changes requested on the day, or failure to adhere to the runsheet), overtime charges will apply at $15 per 15-minute block per artist, invoiced and payable within 7 days.
Artistic Interpretation & Longevity
Our artists will use their professional expertise and the inspiration provided at your trial to create your wedding day look. Variations between the trial and wedding day are normal and may occur due to differences in lighting, skin condition on the day, and the nature of hair and makeup artistry.
Hair and makeup longevity is affected by environmental conditions, skin type, aftercare, perspiration, physical contact, and factors outside our control. No guarantee is provided regarding wear time or performance after service completion.
Third-Party Products & Accessories
We are not responsible for the performance, suitability, compatibility, or longevity of any products, hair extensions, wigs, accessories, skincare, fake tan, lashes, or cosmetics supplied by the client or any third party. Where client-supplied products or accessories are used at the client's request, this is entirely at the client's own risk.
Client-Supplied Hair Pieces, Wigs & Extensions
Where client-supplied wigs, extensions, clip-ins, toppers, accessories, or hair pieces are used, Jessica Vegas Pro Team is not responsible for colour mismatch, quality, damage, fibre performance, heat sensitivity, styling limitations, fitting issues, or longevity. Synthetic hair pieces may have styling limitations and may not be suitable for heat application. Any styling of client-supplied hair pieces is performed at the client's sole risk.
Allergies, Health & Disclosure
It is your responsibility to disclose any known allergies, skin conditions, scalp conditions, recent cosmetic treatments, or relevant medical history before your trial and before your wedding day services. We will take all reasonable precautions, but we are not liable for reactions where a condition was not disclosed.
If you or a member of your bridal party is unwell on the wedding day (including but not limited to active skin infections, conjunctivitis, or contagious illness), we reserve the right to decline services for that individual to protect the health of other guests and our artists.
Images, Content Creation & Privacy
By proceeding with your booking, you grant Jessica Vegas Pro Team a perpetual, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use photographs and video content captured during your booking for portfolio, website, advertising, editorial, educational, and social media purposes.
You may withdraw consent for future use at any time by notifying us in writing prior to publication. Withdrawal of consent does not affect any use of content already published prior to receipt of written notice, and does not affect the terms of your booking.
Privacy
We collect and handle your personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles. Your information is used solely for the purpose of delivering your services and will not be sold or shared with third parties except as required to process your payment (see Clause 2) or as required by law.
Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability to you is limited to the resupply of the relevant services or a refund of the amount paid for those services, at our election.
We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or special loss arising from our services, including but not limited to loss of enjoyment, loss of occasion, or claims arising from photographs taken by third parties.
Third-Party Payment Processor Liability
We are not liable for any loss, delay, error, or failure caused by a third-party payment processor (including Stripe, GoCardless, PayPal, Afterpay, Apple Pay, or Google Pay). Any disputes relating to a payment transaction should be directed to the relevant processor in the first instance. Links to each processor's dispute resolution process are provided in Clause 2.
Force Majeure
Neither party will be liable for failure to perform obligations where such failure is caused by circumstances beyond their reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disaster, pandemic, government-mandated restrictions, or acts of God. In such circumstances, we will work in good faith to reschedule services. If rescheduling is not possible, we will refund amounts paid for services not yet performed.
Feedback & Public Commentary
Clients with concerns regarding services should contact us directly at hello@jessicavegas.com before publishing any public commentary so that we have an opportunity to review and address the matter.
Nothing in these terms prevents you from leaving an honest review of your experience. We do ask that any public commentary be factually accurate and based on your genuine experience.
We reserve the right to respond publicly to reviews where we consider the account to be inaccurate or misleading, and to seek correction of materially false statements through appropriate channels.
General
Agreement to Terms
By proceeding with a booking — whether by accepting a Proposal, making a payment, or confirming in writing — you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions in full. Where a checkbox confirmation is presented at the time of booking or payment, your acceptance is recorded electronically including a timestamp and, where available, IP address. This record forms part of the booking agreement.
Version Control
These terms are versioned. The version in force at the date of your booking confirmation applies to your booking and will not be altered retrospectively. A copy of the terms applicable to your booking is available on request. We strongly recommend retaining a copy of these terms at the time of booking.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. The parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
Order of Precedence
If there is any inconsistency between your Proposal, your Bridal Beauty Package documentation, these Terms, and any other communication, the Proposal and Bridal Beauty Package documentation prevail to the extent of the inconsistency.
Entire Agreement
These terms, together with your accepted Proposal, constitute the entire agreement between you and Jessica Vegas Pro Team and supersede all prior representations and understandings, whether oral or written.
Severability
If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
Non-Refundable Payments
Where these terms describe a payment as non-refundable, that description applies to the fullest extent permitted by law. It does not exclude, restrict, or modify any right or remedy you may have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other applicable law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Amendments
We may update these terms from time to time. Updated terms will be published on this page with an updated version date. The version in force at the time of your booking confirmation applies to your booking and will not change retroactively.
Contact
For questions about these terms, please contact us at hello@jessicavegas.com.
Special Occasion Services
The following terms apply to all Special Occasion bookings (including formals, events, photoshoots, corporate events, and one-off makeup or hair appointments) and are read alongside the relevant provisions of Part 1 where applicable.
Payment & Booking Confirmation
Full pre-payment is required to confirm your Special Occasion booking. Your booking is not confirmed, held, or reserved until full payment has been received in cleared funds. No date, time, or artist is held pending payment.
Payment may be made via Stripe, PayPal, Afterpay, Apple Pay, or Google Pay where available. By completing payment, you agree to the relevant processor's terms (see Clause 2 of Part 1).
All Special Occasion service prices are inclusive of GST unless otherwise stated.
Cancellations & No-Shows
Special Occasion bookings are non-refundable. If you need to cancel, you may request to reschedule at our sole discretion with a minimum of 48 hours' written notice. Rescheduling is subject to availability and is not guaranteed. Any rescheduled appointment must be used within 60 days of the original booking date.
Cancellations made with less than 48 hours' notice, or where the client fails to attend (no-show), will result in full forfeiture of all amounts paid. No credit, refund, or rescheduled appointment will be offered. Nothing in this clause limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Where a client is more than 15 minutes late to their scheduled appointment, we reserve the right to treat the booking as a no-show, forfeit services, or reduce the scope of services to fit within the remaining available time, at our sole discretion. No reduction in fee applies where services are modified or abbreviated due to client lateness.
Preparation & Punctuality
All clients are expected to arrive at their appointment with clean, product-free skin, and dry, product-free hair unless otherwise agreed in writing. Arriving with heavy prior makeup, wet hair, or product build-up may limit the services we are able to provide within the allocated time.
Where additional preparation time is required due to the client's presentation on arrival — including removal of prior makeup, treatment of product build-up, or preparation work not included in the original booking — a preparation surcharge of $55 will apply and must be paid prior to or on the day of service. Services will not be reduced in scope to absorb the additional preparation time — the preparation surcharge reflects additional time required beyond what was allocated at time of booking.
Workspace, Safety & Hygiene
The client is responsible for ensuring a suitable workspace is available at the agreed service location. A suitable workspace includes: adequate natural or artificial lighting, a clean flat surface at a workable height, a suitable chair, access to power, and sufficient physical space for the artist and their kit.
Jessica Vegas Pro Team determines the working location based on operational, safety, and professional requirements. The nature of hair and makeup services means outdoor and open-air environments are generally not suitable working locations. Where an outdoor or unsuitable workspace is proposed, we reserve the right to decline to commence services until a suitable alternative is arranged. This does not entitle the client to a refund of fees paid.
Our equipment may be transported up a maximum of one flight of straight stairs. Spiral staircases, steep stairs, or multi-level access are not accessible with our full kit.
Pets must be secured away from the work area for the duration of services. Children not receiving services must be supervised by another adult during the appointment.
Health, Hygiene & Infectious Conditions
It is the client's responsibility to disclose any known allergies, skin conditions, scalp conditions, recent cosmetic treatments, medical procedures, or relevant health information before the appointment. We will take all reasonable precautions but are not liable for reactions where a condition was not disclosed.
We reserve the right to decline services to any client who presents with an active infectious condition (including but not limited to conjunctivitis, cold sores, skin infections, respiratory illness, or any condition that may pose a risk to the artist or other clients). In such cases, all fees paid are forfeited. Nothing in this clause limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Where services are declined on health grounds, we will communicate this sensitively and directly with the client.
Overtime
If a service runs beyond the allocated appointment time due to circumstances within the client's control (including late arrival, changes to services requested on the day, or additional preparation time required), overtime charges will apply at $15 per 15-minute block, invoiced and payable within 7 days.
Where time is lost due to client lateness or preparation, we may reduce the scope of services provided rather than extend the appointment time, particularly where the artist has a subsequent booking. In such cases, no reduction in fee applies.
Travel & Location
A travel fee applies for all mobile Special Occasion bookings to locations beyond our standard service radius. Travel fees are quoted at time of booking on a per-artist basis and may include distance, artist travel time, tolls, parking, and transport costs. Travel fees are non-refundable.
Where parking costs are incurred at or near the service location, these are payable by the client on the day or will be added to your invoice where applicable.
Artistic Interpretation, Longevity & Acceptance
Our artists will use their professional expertise and any inspiration you have provided to create your look. Makeup and hair artistry is subject to professional interpretation, and results may vary from inspiration images depending on your individual features, hair type, skin type, and the services booked.
Longevity of services is affected by environmental conditions, skin type, perspiration, physical contact, and factors outside our control. No guarantee is provided regarding wear time after service completion.
Each service is deemed accepted and complete at the time it is finished. Any adjustments must be requested immediately upon completion and before the artist packs down or departs. We are not responsible for adjustments requested after the artist has left the premises.
Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability for Special Occasion services is limited to the resupply of the relevant services or a refund of the amount paid for those services, at our election. We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or special loss arising from services, including loss of enjoyment or claims arising from third-party photographs.
Content Creation & Images
By proceeding with your Special Occasion booking, you grant Jessica Vegas Pro Team a perpetual, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use photographs and content captured during your appointment for portfolio, website, advertising, editorial, educational, and social media purposes. You may withdraw consent for future use at any time by notifying us in writing prior to publication. Withdrawal of consent does not affect content already published.
Jessica Vegas Hair & Makeup Academy
The following terms apply to all Academy bookings, classes, workshops, masterclasses, and educational events (collectively, "Academy Events") offered by Jessica Vegas Pro Team.
Payment & Booking
Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your place. Your enrolment is not confirmed until payment is received in cleared funds. Places are limited and are allocated on a first-paid basis. All Academy pricing is inclusive of GST unless otherwise stated.
Academy payments may be processed via Stripe, PayPal, Afterpay, Apple Pay, or Google Pay where available. By completing payment, you agree to the relevant processor's terms (see Clause 2 of Part 1).
Ticket Policy & Cancellations
All Academy ticket sales are final. Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable except at our sole discretion.
If you are unable to attend, you may request to transfer your ticket to a future event of equivalent value within 60 days of the original event date. Transfer requests must be made in writing at least 7 days before the event date. Transfers are subject to availability and are not guaranteed. Only one transfer per original booking is permitted.
We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule an Academy event at any time due to insufficient enrolment, venue issues, presenter unavailability, or other circumstances beyond our control. Where an event is cancelled by us, enrolled attendees will receive a full refund of the ticket price paid or, at the attendee's election, a credit toward a future Academy event. We are not responsible for any costs incurred by attendees in connection with the cancelled event, including travel, accommodation, or time off work.
Nothing in this clause limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Health & Safety
A health disclosure is required before attending any Academy event. If you are unwell on the day of the event — including with cold, flu, respiratory illness, conjunctivitis, active skin infection, or any condition that may pose a risk to other attendees or the presenter — you must not attend. Attendance will be declined for safety reasons, and the ticket forfeiture provisions above apply.
If you have a known allergy to any makeup, skincare, or professional products commonly used in a makeup artistry environment, you must advise us at time of booking and in writing before the event. We will take reasonable steps to accommodate where possible, but cannot guarantee an allergy-free environment.
Tools, Materials & Kit
Where tools, materials, or a kit list are provided as part of an Academy Event, the list will be communicated to enrolled attendees prior to the event. It is the attendee's responsibility to arrive with the required items where specified. Where tools or products are supplied as part of the event, they are provided for educational use during the event only and remain the property of Jessica Vegas Pro Team unless otherwise stated.
Attendance, Conduct & Code of Behaviour
All attendees are expected to attend the full duration of the event, arrive on time, and engage respectfully with the presenter and other participants. Late arrivals may be denied entry at the presenter's discretion to avoid disruption to the event.
Disruptive, disrespectful, or inappropriate behaviour — including harassment of the presenter or other attendees — will result in immediate removal from the event without refund. Jessica Vegas Pro Team reserves the right to refuse entry to or remove any attendee whose behaviour is considered disruptive, unsafe, or contrary to our professional environment.
Age Requirements
Attendees must be 16 years of age or older to attend Academy events independently. Attendees aged 16–17 must provide written parental or guardian consent prior to the event. Attendees under 16 are not permitted to attend unless a specific junior program is expressly offered and the event description states otherwise.
Educational Use Only
All content, techniques, materials, and intellectual property shared or demonstrated at Academy events is provided for personal educational use only. Content may not be reproduced, redistributed, repackaged, or used for commercial purposes — including teaching, training others, or creating derivative educational content — without prior written permission from Jessica Vegas Pro Team.
Intellectual Property
All educational materials, course content, handouts, demonstration videos, printed resources, and techniques demonstrated at Academy events remain the intellectual property of Jessica Vegas Pro Team. Attendees may not reproduce, share, publish, sell, or otherwise distribute any Academy content in any form without prior written permission.
Recording of Academy events (audio, video, or otherwise) is not permitted without prior written consent from Jessica Vegas Pro Team.
Image Use
By attending an Academy event, you grant Jessica Vegas Pro Team a perpetual, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use photographs and video content captured during the event for portfolio, website, advertising, educational, and social media purposes. You may withdraw consent for future use by notifying us in writing prior to publication.
Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability in relation to Academy events is limited to a refund of the ticket price paid or resupply of a comparable event, at our election. We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or special loss arising from attendance or non-attendance at Academy events.
Products & Pro Shop
The following terms apply to all products purchased from Jessica Vegas Pro Team via our online store (jessicavegas.com) or at in-person events.
Orders & Payment
All product orders are subject to availability. We reserve the right to cancel or decline an order at any time before fulfilment — for example, where an item becomes unavailable, where there has been a pricing error, or where we are unable to verify the order. If we cancel an order after payment has been processed, a full refund will be issued via the original payment method.
All Pro Shop pricing is inclusive of GST unless otherwise stated. Payment may be made via Stripe, PayPal, Afterpay, Apple Pay, or Google Pay where available at checkout. By completing payment, you agree to the relevant processor's terms (see Clause 2 of Part 1).
Shipping & Delivery
Orders are dispatched within the timeframe stated at checkout or on the product listing. Dispatch times are estimates only and may vary during peak periods or due to circumstances outside our control. We are not responsible for delays caused by the carrier, Australia Post, customs, or other third parties once an order has been dispatched.
A tracking number will be provided where available. Risk in goods passes to the purchaser once the goods have been delivered to the address provided at checkout. We recommend selecting a shipping option that includes tracking for high-value orders.
We currently ship within Australia only unless otherwise stated. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout and are non-refundable unless the order is cancelled before dispatch or returned due to a fault.
Returns & Refunds
We do not offer refunds or exchanges for change-of-mind purchases. All sales are final, subject to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Where a product is faulty, damaged on arrival, or not as described, please contact us at hello@jessicavegas.com within 7 days of receipt with a description of the issue and photographic evidence where applicable. We will arrange a replacement, repair, or refund in accordance with our obligations under the Australian Consumer Law.
For hygiene reasons, we are unable to accept returns of used makeup, skincare, brushes, or any product that has been opened, used, or had its seal broken, except where the product is faulty.
Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability in relation to product purchases is limited to a refund of the purchase price, replacement of the product, or repair, at our election. We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or special loss arising from a product purchase, including loss of enjoyment or loss of use. Nothing in this clause limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
